# Get Your First Myna AI Campaign Running in 15 Minutes

> Create your account, configure a workspace, launch an AI agent, and send your first campaign message — all in under 15 minutes with Myna.

This guide walks you through everything you need to go from a blank account to an active campaign reaching real contacts. By the end, your AI agent will be ready to send its first outbound message.

Open [app.myna.cx](https://app.myna.cx) in your browser to follow along.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [app.myna.cx/register](https://app.myna.cx/register) and fill in your first name, last name, email, and a strong password. Click **Create Account**.

    Myna automatically creates your first workspace — named `[First Name]'s Workspace` — and sends a verification email to your address. On the next screen, enter the 6-digit code from that email to confirm your account and land on the onboarding checklist.

    <Tip>
      You can also sign up with Google for a one-click registration experience.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete your business profile">
    After registration, you land on the onboarding checklist. Click **Update Business Profile** and fill in your:

    * Business name and niche
    * Website, email, and phone number
    * Business address

    This information gives your AI agent the context it needs to answer basic questions about your company accurately.

    <Note>
      Your business profile is stored in the **Memory Hub** and is used by your agents to answer questions about your company during live conversations.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build your Memory Hub">
    The Memory Hub is your agent's knowledge base. It stores facts, scripts, FAQs, and any product or service information your agent should know.

    From the onboarding checklist, click **Build Memory Hub**. You can add entries manually or import pages directly from your website. Add at least a few entries describing:

    * What your product or service does
    * Common objections and how to handle them
    * Your service area, pricing range, or availability

    You can expand the Memory Hub at any time. For now, a few paragraphs of context are enough to get started.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your first agent">
    Navigate to **Agents** in the left sidebar and click **New Agent**.

    Give your agent a name (this is the name your leads will see in messages), choose its timezone, and configure its tone settings. Key personality settings include:

    | Setting | What it controls |
    | - | - |
    | Formality | How professional vs. casual the agent sounds |
    | Enthusiasm | Energy level in messages |
    | Empathy | How warmly the agent responds to concerns |
    | Persuasiveness | How assertively the agent moves toward the goal |
    | Response length | Short punchy replies vs. detailed explanations |
    | Emoji use | Whether the agent uses emojis in messages |

    Click **Save** when you're satisfied with the configuration.

    <Tip>
      Start with moderate settings across the board and adjust after you review your first few real conversations. You can update tone settings at any time without disrupting active campaigns.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set up your first campaign">
    Navigate to **Campaigns** and click **New Campaign**.

    Configure the following:

    1. **Name** — give your campaign an internal name (e.g., "Summer Roofing Leads – SMS")
    2. **Agent** — select the agent you just created
    3. **Channel** — choose **SMS** for your first campaign
    4. **Phone number** — select a phone number to send from
    5. **Intro message** — write the opening message your agent sends to new contacts
    6. **Follow-up messages** — add 1–2 follow-up messages for contacts who don't respond
    7. **Business hours** — set the days and times your agent is allowed to send messages
    8. **Qualification goals** — define what information the agent needs to collect (e.g., budget, location, timeline)

    Click **Save Campaign** when done.

    <Note>
      Campaigns start as **inactive** by default. Your agent won't send any messages until you activate the campaign in the next step.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add contacts">
    Open your campaign and navigate to the **Contacts** tab. You have two options:

    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="Import CSV">
        Click **Import Contacts** and upload a CSV file. At minimum, your CSV must include a `phone` column. You can also map columns to `first_name`, `last_name`, `email`, and any custom fields your campaign uses.

        After the import completes, your contacts appear in the campaign contact list with a status of **New**.
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="Sync from GoHighLevel">
        If your workspace is connected to GoHighLevel, click **Add from GoHighLevel** and select the contacts or contact list you want to enroll. Myna syncs the contact details and enrolls them in the campaign automatically.

        See the [GoHighLevel integration guide](/docs/integrations/gohighlevel) for setup instructions.
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch your campaign">
    Return to your campaign's main settings page and toggle the campaign status from **Inactive** to **Active**.

    Myna's campaign runner checks active campaigns every minute. Your agent will begin sending intro messages to enrolled contacts during your configured business hours.

    <Warning>
      Make sure your business hours are set correctly before activating. Messages sent outside of business hours will be queued and delivered when the next allowed window opens.
    </Warning>

    You can monitor conversation progress in real time from the **Contacts** tab — click any contact to see the full message history.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What happens next

Once your campaign is active, Myna handles the conversation automatically:

* **New contacts** receive your intro message at the next scheduled send window
* **Replies** are processed by the AI agent, which decides whether to answer, ask a qualification question, handle an objection, or book an appointment
* **Qualified leads** get moved into your appointment flow and land on your calendar
* **Unresponsive contacts** receive your configured follow-up messages on your chosen schedule
