The Conversations view is your live inbox for every message thread between your Myna AI agent and your contacts. It gives you full visibility into what the agent is saying, when it said it, and how each contact is responding — all in real time.

The Conversations Layout

The Conversations page is divided into three panels:
  • Left panel — Inbox list. Every contact the agent has messaged appears here. Threads are sorted by most recent activity. Each row shows the contact name, their current status, which campaign they’re in, and a preview of the last message.
  • Center panel — Message thread. Click any conversation in the left panel to open the full message history. You’ll see each message bubble with timestamps, which direction the message traveled (inbound or outbound), and which channel was used.
  • Right panel — Contact details. Shows the active contact’s fields, appointments, activity log, tasks, notes, and attachments. Switch between tabs using the icon bar on the far right.

Filtering Conversations

Use the filter controls at the top of the inbox list to narrow down which conversations you see:
  • Search — Find conversations by contact name, tags, or message content.
  • Status filter — Show only contacts in specific pipeline stages (e.g., In Conversation, Won, Cold).
  • Campaign filter — Show only contacts enrolled in a specific campaign.
  • Quick filters — Toggle All, Starred, or User Takeover to instantly surface important threads.
All filters can be combined. For example, you can filter by the “Solar Outreach” campaign and the “In Conversation” status at the same time.

Reading Message Threads

Open a conversation to see the full history of every message sent and received. Messages are grouped by day, with dividers showing relative labels like Today, Yesterday, or a specific date.

AI messages

Messages sent by Myna appear on the right side of the thread in a blue gradient bubble. You’ll see a small Myna icon and a double-checkmark confirming delivery.

Contact replies

Inbound messages from the contact appear on the left in a white bubble, with the contact’s initials and the channel icon (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).
If a message was relayed through GoHighLevel, it is labeled via LeadConnector on the message bubble.

Searching Within a Conversation

Click the search icon in the conversation header to open an in-thread search bar. Type any keyword to filter the visible messages to matching results. The matching text is highlighted in yellow.

Activity Log

Switch to the Activity tab in the right panel to see a timeline of actions taken on this contact — such as appointments scheduled, qualification questions answered, status changes, and campaign enrollments. The activity log is append-only and gives you a full audit trail of what the AI and your team have done.

Sending a Manual Message

You can send a message directly from the Conversations view — useful for quick follow-ups or corrections.
1

Enable User Takeover

Click the Takeover button in the message composer toolbar. This pauses the AI and unlocks the composer so you can type and send messages directly.
2

Select a channel

Choose the channel to send on by clicking the channel icon in the toolbar: SMS, WhatsApp, Email, Web Chat, Facebook, or Instagram.
3

Write your message

Type your reply in the composer box. Press Enter to send, or Shift + Enter for a new line.
4

Send

Click Send. The message is delivered immediately and appears in the thread.
You can also send an Internal Note — a message recorded in the thread and visible only to your team, not the contact. Click the note icon (pencil) in the composer toolbar to switch to internal note mode. You do not need User Takeover active to leave an internal note. Notes appear as a distinct amber-colored bubble and the send button changes to Save note.

User Takeover

User Takeover lets you manually take control of any conversation and pause the AI agent.
When User Takeover is active, Myna will not send any automated messages to the contact. The AI is completely silent until you turn takeover off. Toggle it off from the Takeover button in the composer or from the contact detail page when you are ready to hand the conversation back to the AI.
You can see which conversations have an active takeover by looking for the orange Takeover badge in the inbox list. The User Takeover quick filter also lets you see all conversations currently under manual control.

Starring a Conversation

Click the star icon on any conversation row (or in the conversation header) to mark it. Starred conversations appear in the Starred filter so you can track your highest-priority threads without scrolling through the full inbox.

Appointments Panel

Switch to the Appointments tab in the right panel to see the next confirmed appointment for this contact, as well as the last time slot the AI offered but the contact has not yet confirmed.

Notes

Switch to the Notes tab to add free-text internal notes to this contact. Notes are visible to your team but are never sent to the contact. Each note is timestamped and attributed to the team member who created it.
